Description

Ta’ Karduna farmhouse offers a relaxing getaway from the hassle and bustle of everyday life. The farmhouse is a family run renovated large town house in the outskirts of the quaint village of Għarb, in Gozo. It is complete with a recently tiled swimming pool area, a Jacuzzi and a fully equipped BBQ area. It has 1 double bedroom with en-suite shower, 2 twin bedrooms, 2 other bathrooms and a laundry. A spacious open plan gives room to the kitchen, dinning and living area, all fully equipped with comfort for our guests. All rooms, including the open plan, enjoy an air-conditioning system. Ta’ Karduna accommodates quite family escapes and also group holidays of up to 6 persons. It is a perfect retreat for those seeking a relaxing getaway and a perfect spot for daily adventures around the small Gozitan island.

Surroundings

Ta’ Karduna is located in the peaceful village of Gharb, Gozo, only few minutes away from the inland sea “Dwejra” and the famous “Fungus Rock”. It is also surrounded with the most visited historical places, such as; Taz-Zejt Chapel, San Dimitri Chapel, Wied il-Mielah, Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary, The Folklore Museum, Karmni Grima Museum, Frenc ta’ l-Gharb Museum, and Ta’ Dbiegi Crafts village. This serene village welcomes visitors with various checkpoints for countryside walking, with information given at every checkpoint. This small part of the village also offers tourists the opportunity of tasting and buying local fresh food such as; rabbit, cheese, vegetables, and eggs.

It is also worth mentioning that at the village square one can find “Tas-Sajf” mini market, while at the outskirts of the village there is also “Ta’ Pinu” pharmacy.
